Chapter 1- The Disney Host Interactive Day Parade

In this chapter the the five kids return to the Magic Kingdom in the Disney Host Interactive Day Parade with their DHI's or Disney Host Interactives. In the previous book or the first book, Finn the main character appeared accidentally in the Magic Kingdom around midnight. It was then that he learned from someone that lived in the old firehouse that half of him was a hologram. This meant that he was a human being and could turn into a cone of light at any time. His four friends were also half holgrams and they ended up with him at the Magic Kingdom near the beginning of the first book. The main point of the series which started with the first book was the five kids have to stop the overtakers from taking over Walt Disney World and they cannot fall asleep while they are holograms. While the five kids are attending the parade with their holograms a severe thunderstorm comes and Disney is forced to send up a weather balloon. The holograms are not allowed to be at Disney World but since it is a special occassion they let it go. The worst part that happens next is that a problem occurs with the parade and one of the Disney cast members finds out that Chernabog from the original Fantasia had disapeared from the floats. At this point the five kids know that they have to stop the overtakers once again from ruining Disney World before it is too late. The author's intent in this book and in the series is to excite the readers into thinking that it is possible for the most magical place on earth for families to turn into a nightmare for everybody after the parks shut down. When Ridley Pearson came up with the idea he wanted everybody to view Walt Disney World through a different pair of lenses because he was probably thinking that most people would see his books as boring and dull unless he did not pour his imagination into it. The first time I ever picked up his books I thought it was really cool especially when I got into Kingdom Keepers II, Disney at Dawn. The reason why is because in book one that is when all five kids first end up at Walt Disney World and meet the strange man from the old fire house. From there they have a lot of problems with the evil overtakers which are the villans that Walt Disney created himself. In book two the kids come for the parade with their DHI's and had to track down more evil overtakers. They eventually ended up at Disney's Animal Kingdom because the overtakers were using animals from there. In my opinion about these books, it is just really cool what Ridley Pearson does to stretch the imagination of all who read the popular Kingdom Keeper series. It really does make people wonder what happens at Disney after all of the parks get shut down. I know as a fact that all of the parks and rides get cleaned but it is still cool to pretend that there is a whole lot more that actually happens. The type of organizational use that was used in this series and this book was order of importance because Ridley Pearson wanted the readers to see the suspense of solving the mystery of the main evil overtaker in each book in order to save Walt Disney World. At the same time they have to stop a bunch of other overtakers while they are trying to find or stop the main evil overtaker.
